ABOUT ME

We are a young multicultural couple aiming to have a truly global experience in our lives. Life has given us the opportunity to study and work in various countries, including France, Trinidad, USA and Spain, and thus we try to be completely openminded in our experiences. The more we learn from different cultures and connect with others, the more addicted we become to travel, always seeking new adventures every chance we get and hosting foreigners regularly. We love traveling so much that we decided to quit our jobs and comfortable life in the US to travel the world for a year (check out our google + blog Travel to be A.L.I.V.E.)

We are easygoing, fun, kind hearted, good cooks :), respectful and cherish our values. We love sharing our background and are always interested to learn from others...

PHILOSOPHY

One should work to live not vice versa. As such we work hard but also play hard and are highly determined to enjoy life to the fullest. When looking back on life we want to remember the many great experiences that we had, not be depressed with absolute regret about the things we could have accomplished IF ONLY!!...an expression that should not exist...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted numerous couchsurfers at home and only had great experiences...sharing stories, meals, drinks and exploring the city...we shared laughs and learned from each encounter.
While couchsurfing, we learned what hospitality truly means. People opened their homes and their hearts to strangers like us and we made long lasting friendships along the way.

Interests

Traveling, traveling, and traveling again! Discovering and learning anything new from various cultures including languages, customs, music, foods...
We love the outdoors and physically/mentally challenging ourselves ...so count on us to try anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydived in Puerto Rico, danced soca in Trinidad Carnival, got in trouble with an elephant in South Africa, filled my passport, quit our jobs to travel the world, experienced the World Cup in Brazil, walked 100km non stop, learned 4 languages, danced samba in Rio's carnival, hiked the highest 14er of Colorado, became a One Young World ambassador, volunteered in Guatemala, received 2 presidential awards from the White House for volunteering...everyday is an opportunity for something amazing
