About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To write the next best coming of age novel. Step aside, Salinger!

ABOUT ME

Oh, the pressure to speak eloquently about oneself!

To tell you the truth, I don't really think I'm supposed to be here in this so called "21st century". There are days when I wake up and genuinely feel like I was born in the wrong era. You see, if you ask me...I belong to the good ol' days of wine and roses when big band and jazz music was in vogue and men like Don Draper weren't fictional characters to be drooled over on television but real men running abound...a time smouldering with panache.

But alas, here I am...finding my way in this incredibly fast-paced but nevertheless, exciting world full of gadgets and gizmos a-plenty, whozits and whatzits galore...navigating through and in awe of all the wonders this technological age has to offer, especially this really cool "Internet" thingamabob...incredibly grateful that it has opened up a whole new avenue to meet people across oceans, deserts, mountains, and whatever landscape brings you joy (hello, CS!).

In a nutshell (a very superficial one at that), I'm an avid learner and an explorer of faraway lands. I am a non-profit communicator for an amazing nonprofit based in Toronto but with operations all around the globe!

At my very core, I'm a writer. My mind always itches and the only way to scratch it is on paper (okay sorry, "keyboard"). So let's connect! I'm sure I've got a story or two to tell...and if not, then let me hear yours :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Be always drunken. Nothing else matters: that is the only question. If you would not feel the horrible burden of Time weighing on your shoulders and crushing you to the earth, be drunken continually.

Drunken with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you will. But be drunken."
--- Baudelaire
