ABOUT ME

Friendly, chilled and love to have a good laugh. I live for travel and meeting new people around the world. Born and bred in Perth, Western Australia, I am an Aussie with Chinese-Malaysian heritage. I support the mighty West Coast Eagles (so close this year!). And I LOVE food. Especially potatoes.

The poem "Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann and of late The Holstee Manifesto have very much influenced how I see the world and how I wish to live my life - sustainably, with shared experiences and appreciation of this beautiful planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Too many to list... I could not live without music.. I love most types (except heavy metal and country) including Asgeir, Bon Iver, The Strokes, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Foo Fighters, silverchair, Triple J stuff, drum and bass, electronica.. Love hearing new up and coming bands at gigs like Laneway Festival.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Cuba, Central and South America for 3.5 months.. Just an incredible experience and meeting with so many awesome people and seeing the most amazing things..

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I have just about perfected how to make a mean paella (socorrat and all..!) and I can also teach you all the rules of AFL football
Learn: Estonian, Spanish, Parkour and different cuisines of the world
Share: Happy to share what I can about Australian and Chinese-Malaysian culture (and food!)
