ABOUT ME
Iâm a thirty-something girl, living with one fuzzy cat in beautiful Seattle, Washington. I make friends easily, and most would describe me as warm, honest and witty. I have a fluid sense of humor and adore laughing. Learning about other cultures is fascinating to me, and in general, I have a passion for knowledge. My career as a graphic designer keeps me busy working hard, but then I play hard. I love stories, but not gossip. I'm very easy-going but determined. I organize my books in order of color, adore vintage alarm clocks and cameras and drool over letterpress.

Interests
I am constantly looking to solve creative problems and make the world more beautiful. I love to make things: sew, knit, draw, build, print, cook, garden. Planning theme parties and crafting my own costumes gets me giddy with excitement. I can be a party animal who loves to dance and hula hoop, but I can also be happy playing a board game with good friends. Catching up with old friends and family, as well as meeting new people to laugh with brings me great joy. Though I'm a city girl now, I grew up on a farm and know how to get my hands dirty. I love nature, camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking. I adore good food and drink (especially sushi, whiskey and red wine), so I'm always up for trying new bars and restaurants. I enjoy language, but I'm only fluent in English. Currently I'm studying Spanish, and I know a handful of words in Italian, French and Arabic. Because of my job I am somewhat tech savvy and spend much time in front of a computer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I adore music (listening) and have very diverse musical taste. I love true stories, so nonfiction and documentaries are my favorite types of books/movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite moments involved eating bruschetta and drinking wine under a sky filled with fireworks, whilst overlooking Italy's Amalfi Coast.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm amateur at many things, but happy to share my knowledge of gardening, knitting, letterpress printing, cooking, and rescuing a tipped canoe. I would love to have someone to practice my Spanish with and to share their knowledge of cooking new cuisine. Any salsa dancers out there who can help me with my skillz?
