About Me

CURRENT MISSION :

That each day may be a new learning experience and a new discovery in this world that surrounds me.

PHILOSOPHY :

"If your dreams don't scare you, that's because they aren't big enough…"

ABOUT ME :

I find it hard to describe myself but in a few words, i would say that i am a simple and open minded person, curious, adventurous and always looking forward meeting new people and experiencing new things and sensations. I think that I'm listening for people around me, or so, I try to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

" On ne va jamais aussi loin que lorsqu’on ne sait pas où l’on va ... "

I joined Couchsurfing because i find the concept simple but awesome. It brings us back to the fundamental values of life: the interaction and sharing between individuals. It allows you to make new encounters across the globe and to experience things that can mark a life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE :

I haven't had the occasion to experience Couchsurfing, but I am looking forward to.

Interests

I LIKE ALL KINDS OF ACTIVITES (or almost)

I love nature and being outdoors.
I was lucky enough to grow up in the countryside and my parents always taught me to play outside rather than watch TV indoors. That's why I like doing outdoor activities like camping, a return to basics, that makes my mind clearer, and live simply.

I also like sports .. Dancing, biking, pilates, hiking, walking, snowboard, those activities makes me happy. Recently, I started climbing (bouldering for the moment), a sport that I really enjoy because I'm are able to push my mental limits. I also had the occasion to do Kayak, Canyoning, Rafting, Slackline. I'm planning to do other extreme sports in the future.

I like to take time for my friends and spend time with them, chat over coffee, go to the cinema (particularly to watch movies in small independent movie theater), to walk in the countryside and admire the view that surrounds me. I also like to party from time to time, in more alternative and laid back places.

After my studies, I had the occasion to work in an architectural practice, where I did urban models for different projects and architectural competitions. It helped me realize that I love using my hands to create. By nature, I am curious and I love going to craft markets, and seeing up to where the imagination of people goes, I find it fascinating. Unfortunately, the craft industry is now being lost these days. In the future, I would like to be able to create objects that I use daily, like jewelry, clothing, utensil, cream, etc.). They will be made from recycled materials or organic products and I will have my own vegetable garden.

IN ANY CASE, I'M THIRTSY FOR DISCOVERY !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Work as a volunteer at the Paléo Festival. A great experience that brings back a lot of good memories.
During a month, we lived as a big community, with no contact with the outside world. We spent our days outside on the lands of the festival, that we saw evolving as days go by. And the evening, we would relax all together at the camping.
That sensation of being cut off from the outside world whilst being only 30 minutes away from home, really helped me re-center myself, and learned more about myself. That place was full of great encounters. I think that most of us, came back home as a different person and more mature.
