About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm from a small town in southwestern Pennsylvania in the Appalachians. Now I live in New York working for a non-profit that helps low income people with their financial problems. It gives me a lot of stories of people from all walks of life in the city, a perfect job for a couchsurfer(in fact, if you speak Spanish and this sounds interesting to you, message me!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host, surf, and show people around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met my best friend in Chile through CS! A lot of my favorite people in Sevilla, too. I can host occasionally in New York and am always happy to meet up/show people around.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Jerk, UHF, Departures, Inception, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Nas, Biggie, Chico Trujillo, Cat's Cradle, Chekhov, Cien años de soledad, Midnight's Children, Cortázar, Hamsun, Franny and Zooey, anything Woody Allen has done, is doing, or will do in the future regardless of whether or not I've seen it
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once competed in a wrestling match(kushti) in a village outside of Delhi. Not being well-informed of the rules and regulations of kushti style wrestling, I rolled around on the dirt mound with my much smaller adversary until someone tapped me on the shoulder and told me it was over. I lost.
I once jumped onto a moving train as it was leaving the station. As I sat down, heart still racing, I thought of what a great story it would one day make. Then the train stopped for no apparent reason, waited about five minutes, and started again, completely negating the necessity of running and debilitating my story. Later I wrestled with the idea of omitting this final detail. I lost.
Teach, Learn, Share
English, Spanish, Hindi/Urdu. The guitar. Cooking would probably be the best. My grandparents used to have me make Syrian food for the family when they got older, so it's super legit, and well my Indian food is probably the best you'll get from a videshi.
