ABOUT ME

I'm kind of nerdy and kind of social. I like people. I like to travel. I'm originally from California. Right now I'm getting my Ph.D. in history & Renaissance studies at Yale University. Before that I was a graphic designer and before that I studied philosophy at UC Berkeley.

I hosted a boatload of people when I was in Italy (folkcouchsurfing).

Interests

Singing, dancing, eating, sleeping. Recently getting a little better at tennis; rockclimbing when I have the time. Internet shopping (for real), rehabbing houses & furniture, film/movies (generally old ones). I also spend lots of time in Italy, usually in archives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned how to do gypsy dances in a forest in Italy.

I could teach you how to make a paper mache piggybank out of a balloon, or how to make shish kebabs. I can dance anything with anyone.
