ABOUT ME

I'm currently a third year political science/music major at UCSB, spending the year abroad in Barcelona. After I graduate, I want to either study international law or spend a year or so just concentrating on music. I'm the eldest of ten kids. I'm not religious, but I'm pretty spiritual. I like to dance and have fun. I love sushi and french fries. I'm a skinny fat ass.

PHILOSOPHY

If you've read "On liberty" by John Stuart Mill, you know exactly how I think about life, politics, and morals. What makes you human are your choices. Beliefs are not beliefs unless they're challenged. And the unexamined life is definitely not worth living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few times, twice on my own and more times through my room mates. I've been using couch surf as I travel over this winter break, met the coolest people in Paris and Amsterdam!

Interessen

MUSIC, sports, excercise in general, traveling, and MORE MUSIC. I've played piano since I was six and have sang since I was 14. I love electronic, house, techno, indie rock, and anything from the impressionist period (Claude Debussy, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, those greats). I ran cross country in high school and continue to keep up with that. I participated in a half marathon in San Diego last summer, and I love going on long runs. I also played soccer in high school, and though I don't play much anymore I still love to follow it (FC Barca all the way) and go to games, etc..Traveling is a newfound interest, and am just getting under way with that this year.

It's kind of a funny story, Catcher in the Rye, The perks of being a wallflower, harry potter, anything by john stuart mill or Murikami.
