About Me

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I was an active host in Chicago but am currently not able to host due to location and life transitions. However, I hope to host again soon in DC area!

I was born and raised in a small suburb in Minnesota, USA. I started couchsurfing while studying and backpacking in Asia, and loved the community I found on this platform. I travel for leisure on some weekends, but love to host others when I'm in town because I love this community and want to contribute to it however I can.

I have hosted couchsurfers from: Australia (1), Canada (2), China (1), Columbia (4), El Salvador (1), Guatemala (1), France (3), Italy (1), Kazakhstan (1), Latvia (1), New Zealand (1), Russia (6), Slovakia (1), Spain (2), Taiwan (3), United States (30+)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CS to travel, meet people at events, and host when I'm able. Ultimately, I want to meet good people and get an authentic feel for places I visit. I've got lots of stories from the United States and some recent travels in east Asia, and am looking to share some international experiences with new friends. Definitely would prefer to spend time with my host, but am completely understanding if he or she has other obligations during my stay.
