I am from Washington D.C. After finishing my undergrad in Colorado, I decided to join the Peace Corps. I had spent a summer in Brazil during college and wanted to return and continue exploring South America. I just finished my two years in Paraguay last November and now am traveling a little in South America!

Había pasado un verano en Brasil durante la universidad y quería regresar y seguir explorando Sudamérica. Ya termine con mi tiempo en Paraguay recien, en Noviembre! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have connected with couchsurfing in the past, through group meetups, staying with amazing hosts, and connecting with locals when I am in a new place. For me, traveling is all about meeting the people of a place, not just seeing the sights. I always enjoy a place more when I can get to know locals and learn about the area from them. Through couchsurfing I want to more completely learn about where I am and hopefully share a bit about where I have been.

Me he conectado con couchsurfing en el pasado, a través de reuniones grupales, hospedarme con anfitriones increíbles y conectarme con los lugareños cuando estoy en un lugar nuevo. Para mí, viajar se trata de conocer a la gente de un lugar, no solo de ver los lugares de interés. Siempre disfruto mas cuando puedo conocer los locales y conocer mejor el lugar de ellos. A través de couchsurfing quiero aprender más completamente sobre dónde estoy y ojalá compartir un poco sobre dónde he estado.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all sorts of music. During my time in Paraguay, I have had tons of time to read during hot siestas. Good novels can be of any type, although a good fantasy book can often be the hardest to put down. Well written non-fiction can teach you something amazing about the world and prove true the term "stranger than fiction." The movie depends on the mood.

Disfruto de todo tipo de música. Durante mi tiempo en Paraguay, tuve mucho tiempo para leer durante las siestas calientes. Las buenas novelas pueden ser de cualquier tipo, aunque un buen libro de fantasía a menudo puede ser el más difícil de dejar. La no ficción bien escrita puede enseñarle algo sorprendente sobre el mundo y demostrar que es verdadero el término "más extraño que la ficción". La película depende del estado de ánimo.
