I am a backpacker and travel blogger and I blog at www.justinvawter.com. I travel to have fun and explore the world. Architect by day, digital marketer by night, weekend warrior.

I love hiking. I once climbed a mountain for more than 19 hours.

My philosophy in life is that "Life is too short to live without Adventure". Take the road less traveled. I'm quite an introvert so I'm pretty shy at first but once I get comfortable, I can talk for hours. We can share stories together. I don't drink beer but I'm up for some vodka. I don't like parties but I'm always open to new experiences.

I am also a photographer so we can definitely do some shoots. Also, I love learning. I like listening to stories and get involved in the culture of the community. While I'm not a fan of kids and pets (I love dogs but they seem to hate me), I do love volunteering especially teaching. I can teach art.

I am also a designer. I do graphics design and web design for a living so if you want to learn, I can definitely teach you the basics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new folks especially the locals who can show me around. I want to learn the culture and how locals do it. Always ready for a spontaneous adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to 3 Provinces, 21 Destinations in 4 days.

Climbed Mt. Balingkilat-Nagsasa Traverse in Zambales, Philippines for more than 14 hours.

I recently joined a project of an ngo that involves sustainable tourism. We went diving in a marine sanctuary in Batangas and it was honestly one of the best thing I've seen.
