About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the world's finest coffee.
ABOUT ME
I'm from the United States, but I've lived in the UK for the past four years. Traveling and meeting new, and awesome people in a passion of mine. Some of the best experiences I've had traveling were while couch surfing, so I hope to continue that along the way :)
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be happy and I try to help others whenever possible. Ultimately, I just want to live life a little differently.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and have a generally awesome time. I find that when visiting a country, you can't really understand what you're experiencing without talking to people - it's too easy to be isolated in a tourist bubble. Couch surfing breaks that bubble.
Interests
Literally everything, but I'm especially passionate about writing, along with the study of politics, philosophy, and economics.
Also, good books and good coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once trekked for almost two weeks from Cuzco to Machu Picchu with a friend, though all the towns and villages on the way there, and occasionally going further up into the mountains with just a tent and a (fabulously accurate but we were bad at reading it) map. For anyone who wants to try this, I recommend it just to see the sun coming over the mountains in the morning. But. Maybe learn to read a map better than we could at the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help anybody with English! I also speak decent Spanish, and I'm happy to learn anything anybody will teach me. I LOVE cooking, but I'll accept that I'm not very good at it yet. I'll get there. I'm also always up for a chat about politics/economics (I study this, but I've gotten to the point where I now know enough to know that I know nothing, so progress has been made). Whenever I'm in another country, I try very hard to learn the language, so any help there is much appreciated.
