ABOUT ME

I must travel, if I don't, something inside me feels like it goes to sleep or is dying,...it's that spark. I think you all know what I'm talking about. I think that's all I want to do. Kings, Emperors and Pharaohs could not see the world like we can. They could not understand the world like we can they didn't have access to the information we do. This is me, to live, to be free, to take advantage of these things that have only become available to the world in the last 30 - 100 years. To cast off the burdens of material possessions and instead find the cracks to fall through and enrich the spirit instead. And couchsurfing my friends is a huge crack! I want to find those things in the world that are good and wholly good and true and surround myself with those things and revel in them, to feed them with my efforts so they may grow and spread to others, for this is how a culture changes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hiked the appalachian trail in 07 and was completely broke by the end. The only reason I made it back to Austin from Maine was Couchsurfing and Craigslist rideshare and the generosity of highway travelers.
It changed my experience from one of quiet desperation to one of excited revelation
