ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old bilingual (French/English) guy who grew up in a suburb of Montreal and moved to the big city for University. I'm currently taking a year off after having finished medical school at McGill University and am looking to travel and experience as much as possible. I was relegated to the library and the hospital for much of the past 5 years and am presently just basking in the sunshine for what seems like the first time in forever! I love music, both listening and collecting records in addition to playing with my band in Montreal whenever we can get a gig. I basically spend any disposable income I have on food and booze so I guess you could say I'm a bit indulgent and gluttonous but we only live once. Just looking to fill in the missing chapters of The Book of Justin.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present I'm mostly travelling, therefore I see myself more as a surfer. But, at the same time I also see this as an opportunity to become more culturally enriched and to also meet people in new cities as I often travel alone. I see this as a good way to meet fellow travellers and compare notes on things to check out around the globe. I also have a wicked arsenal of anecdotes that I'm sure almost anyone would want to hear...yeah, that good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered 11 babies my first night on-call at the hospital...terrified the entire time, pretty sure I cried from happiness/sheer lunacy by the end of it.

I've been playing guitar most of my life and though I'm no virtuoso I could for sure teach a beginner some basics.
I also am half French and could give people a hand in picking up some French.
