About Me

No matter what stage in life, I have always been social. People usually say I am strong, and have a good head on my shoulders. Most people agree that I have experienced more than the average person my age.

ABOUT ME

Hello all! I'm not quite sure how to sum myself up in words so I'm not going to try. I can tell you that some of the things I enjoy are music, conversation, travel, culture, dance, art/photography, interior design, anything that looks cool, feeling small in a giant world, walking, adventure, sports, fishing, and pretty much anything else that people can do to have fun. I feel as though as long as people can throw their own selfishness out the window around me, things are typically taken care of.. I usually have a lot of fun, but communication is key. I'm the kid who had a lot of drama growing up and somehow escaped it for the most part by my early teens so I tend to be more functional than not... though sometimes it takes a while to figure out my reasoning I'm sure.

I graduated high school, went to college for a couple years, came back and lived in Fresno for about a year working at a record store and starbucks, hitchhiked around the US for 4 months exploring and adventuring around transient style, and then came home and have been just living.. I'm getting my own house now.. so I'm really excited to work on it, decorate, and have social gatherings of different sorts.

I'm just a girl all about freedom, communication, and loving people... anybody who can roll with that is down in my book.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with a sober reckless abandon. It's important to be spontaneous, yet also important to know when to be grounded, and self-reflection is always a must.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my hitchhiking adventure, I couchsurfed around the US for 4 months and enjoyed just about every minute of it. There weren't any couchsurfing experiences I wasn't happy with, we had free places to stay and awesome people (for the most part) to hang out with and show us around.

Now I'm on a different kind of journey. I've been living on a family members couch (I just couldn't get enough) for a while, but soon I'll be moving into my own house! I'm excited to be able to host people on my very own couches and futons in my very own house. I've shown a few people around yosemite and trekked around the woods a whole bunch with my uninformed friends, but I haven't been able to network through couchsurfing to host surfers of my own.. so here we go.

(this was a while ago.. I am now living in a condo and while I have hosted a few, I am pretty selective, though it is possible for me to help others find connections in this little mountain community. I love the idea of meeting up or showing people my mountains.. if I get the chance)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lovin' every minute of it.. we'll see if hosting is at all as fun as surfing....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up in Yosemite so I got an opportunity to camp and build trails for 5 weeks, that was pretty trying, but amazing in the end. I have interned at a rescue mission in the Tenderloin of San Francisco, some of the things I saw and learned there were pretty amazing. after realizing college wasn't really my thing, i kinda set out on a weird journey settled for a little bit, went through some family stuff, then took off around the country, now i'm ready to do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little on guitar.. VERY little.. Native American Culture, I can teach you how to crochet, or dance and have fun, do make up, I'm semi-smart, so any educational stuff. I have a pretty wide range of random knowledge, I can build things, and yardwork, and clean!! all common sense and coordination, it might take a while to figure things out, but that's living
