About Me

Hello, everyone! (hosting from September onwards)
I am a 22-year-old optimistic extrovert who currently studies political sciences and languages in the Netherlands. My affinity for global affairs exceeds the boundaries of just politics, therefore I seek to explore more cultures and languages all around the world.
My philosophy - Happiness is a way of life and not a destination :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why couchsurfing? The French verb "se dépayser'' (could be translated as a temporal or lasting expatriation in order to explore otherness) might be an apt answer to that question.
What am I longing for? - exploration of nature as well as metropolitan life, language exchange, meeting nice and inspiring people, sharing experiences in all kind of domains and most importantly staying with locals in order to get a deeper understanding of the desired place and its surroundings

Interests

Too much to fit in here but I give it a summary,
- creating sounds by using instruments or voice/mouth (guitar, piano, drums, violin, sax, beatbox)
- some casual drawing (mainly charcoal)
- fitness, calisthenics, running, martial arts
- maintaining and forging family-like friendships
- reading, socializing, cooking delicious vegan food, sapere aude

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - jazz/blues, acoustic, deep house, RnB, soul, hip-hop
Favorite artists atm - Anderson Paak, Childish Gambino, Fat Freddy's Drop
Movies - Green Mile, Into the Wild, Mai Wei, Letters from Iwo Jima
Books - 1984, GoT, all of Dan Brown, religious literature

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd still have to think about that and chose one...difficult question

Teach, Learn, Share

- Language as well as intercultural exchange
- Sharing infinite happiness and positivity :)
