ABOUT ME

I am currently a queer buddhist preschool teacher on summer break. When I am not sleeping, sitting, or studying I can be found reading dystopian YA fiction, playing ukulele and singing for my cats and other friends. I have lived in lovely Brooklyn for nearly 10 years and for 5 of those years I performed with a radical marching band called the Rude Mechanical Orchestra. I fully recognized that I lead a charmed existence and live in a pure realm.

I have been away from this community for a long while. I will soon have a couch available in Brooklyn and can't wait to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several years ago I was having a rough time and decided to travel on my own to the Carolinas. First I visited my sister in Charleston, SC and then I made my way up to Asheville, NC where I stayed with my first couchsurfing host Chelsea! She and her partner at the time were so generous and welcoming and Chelsea and I became fast friends. We are still in touch today!
