I've just finished up my degree in computer science from university, and I'm off to see the world a bit before I start my 9 to 5. I'm a lifelong dork who can pretend to be suave pretty convincingly, when necessary. I'm a super low-key, go with the flow sort of person. I've got no expectations and no plan. All I'm looking for are new experiences, in whatever form they may come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be spending the next three weeks traveling throughout Japan, and I'd love to meet locals or expats. I also don't have the budget for a ryokan every night :)

My favorite book is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. I've been listening to a whole lot of Passenger lately, but I'm not really heavy into music. And I like shows more than movies. Like Sherlock and Wilfred and South Park.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked with the Raleigh Boys' Club on developing a robotics program, which I eventually coached and helped lead my amazing team of third graders to win their regional contest.

I'll play almost any strategy board game with you, if you're in to that :)

I'll go out on the town with you if you're looking for some company and an adventure.
