Hello everyone, my name is Justus, but if it would be too hard for you, you can call me Jay. I am studying to become a primary teacher in Flensburg. I love visiting new countries/cities.

I lived when I was 18-19 yo for one year in Melbourne and went there to school, it has been a fantastic time meeting really good friends, a lot of them have visited me in the last years.

Also I lived in Ghana, was teaching as a volunteer in a primary school. I stayed there for 6 months and it was such an incredible experience living in a ghanaian town with a ghanaian family.

Last year I decided to live and work in Ho Chi Minh City (better known as Sai Gon)for just 2 months, this city is pretty crowded and noisy. After a while I got used to this new experience of the daily traffic.

Right now I´m learning Spanish, I always were interested in this language and now I´m taking part in a A2 course, so it´s still upgradeable ;) So my next goal in life is getting to Spain! Meeting interesting people, living with the flow and of course improving my Spanish. On the 4th of May I´ll fly to Barcelona, stay there for a week and navigate myself to the northcoast and hopefully I`ll find a place where I can stay and/or work. This summer is for new experiences and adventures, maybe we meet somewhere in Spain or anywhere else in this wonderful world :)

I am a relaxed person, love trying new things especially foreign food. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people all over the world and listing to every unique story of their lives.
with couchsurfing i get a really good view on a persons habits and share also my experience with new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band are the Foo Fighters,
I listen to a lot of Rockbands, i.e.: Arctic Monkeys, The Hives, Beatsteaks, The Subways and many more
I`m a big fan of good Reggae music, there is more than just Bob Marley ;)
Probably I can enjoy almost every type of music.

I like movies directed by Tim Burton, Christopher Nolan and Guy Ritchie and I do love the old classy Bond movies :) But always can watch the most Disney Movies e.g. Jungel Book, Ice Age or Lion King.

Game of Thrones is the greatest show ever created except the last two seasons.

My favourite author is Carlos Ruiz Zafon from Barcelona.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sleeping! I slept in the westafrican rainforest on a perch and also under the stars at the australian outback.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German and English, if you want to, I do learn Spanish, maybe you can help me improving it.(I´m als interesting in learing phrases of other languages).
I do know some dances... and like to cook, I mean I´m really not an amazing cook, but I´m kreativ and interested in sharing thoughts about food culture.

Learning together is easier and more helpful :)

When I visit a country, I need to taste at least one local beer because I love beer and love tasting new beers. In Viet Nam for example, they put huge iceblocks in your beer glass, this was a special and funny experience :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share fantastic experience and amazing stories. Maybe the host is ready for an adventure trip and we start traveling together.
