Overview
About Me
I would discribe myself as a openminded and communicative person. I love to spend thim with other people and get to know different opinions. Of cause, I love traveling and explore new cultures. I enjoy spending time in nature and try to live more eco-friendly.
Currently, I am studing psychology at the university in Trier, Germany. I live in a shared apartment with two other students. We often cook or have a beer together. In the past I did a lot of social work with kids and teenagers in my hometown. After high school I did a one year backpacking trip around South America (where I learned Spanish).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered Couchsurfing while I was traveling in South America and since than I am amazed by this idear! Couschsurfing for me is a good way to travel and to meet interesting people. It gives me the opportunity to experience a new culture first hand and is a way of cultural exchange. For me, this way of traveling, is more authentic then staying in a hostel because you get to know the local people of the country. Thus, I also like to travel by hitchhiking.
Interests
I am swimming in a sport team for about 6 years now. Moreover, I did my lifeguard in the DLRG. Also I love to work with people. I have been doing volunteer work with children for many years, including organizing summer camps in foreign countries. Furthermore, I did volunteer work in an orphanage in Thailand for 2 weeks. Hiking has become on of my favorite activities lately. I love to be in nature and are very familiar with camping and sleeping outside.

Teach, Learn, Share
I worked in a restaurant for one and a half years so I know how to be a waiter. But also to help to maintain and clean the house. Through my volunteer work I am experienced in working with people of every age. As I already said, I am trained to be a lifeguard and I could teach some of theses skills as well (only if wanted).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a helping hand around the house and don't need much comfort.
