About Me

I am Justyna, 30 years old Data Scientist from Poland. I live and work in Warsaw, the formal capital of Poland, but my true love and the central city in our country is Krakow, where I lived for two years. I'm born tourist and have to know everything about places I visit and live in. My list of places-to-visit counts about 4100 places (really!) and I'm going to visit all of them! I also appreciate to try new things and look for new ideas. I am addicted to learning - still have to have some new things to learn! Trying to deal with all of my activities makes me endless sleepy, but also experienced in various fields, from working for a corporation to prunning asparagus in food cooperative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling, I'd like to know daily life of people living in visited place. I think it's not possible during stay in hotel or hostel. What's more, it's really important for me to know new, interesting people, with whom I can share experiences, opinions, points of view... and finally organize re-visit in Poland. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock, folk and symphonic metal, punk, folk. My favourite bands are Eluveitie and Sonata Arctica.
Movies: My FilmWeb profile tells you everything: http://www.filmweb.pl/user/justine_hehe/films
Books: I love almost everything readable, but if I have a choice I prefer fantasy and travel books. My probably favourite book is 'The Lord of The Rings' by Tolkien, but I love also 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by Sheakspeare and 'The Witcher' by popular fantasy Polish novelist Andrzej Sapkowski. I read also magazines like 'Traveller', 'National Geographic', sometimes 'NowaFantastyka' ('NewFantasy'), Teraz Rock ('NowRock') and 'Książki' ('Books').

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My life is boring, it's a good reason to start couchsurfing adventure. ;)

For example I can mention... hitchhiking alone around Ukrainian villages, knowing no word in Ukrainian language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you, how to cook something from Polish cuisine and teach you some Polish words, but be careful - it's not the easiest language.
I'd like to learn some Spanish or Russian, although it's very important for me to speak English as much as I can, because I've sometimes problem to fluently express my feelings and thoughts. I will be keen on eating with you a dish typical for your country or find out something about local customs or folklore.
We can go hiking together, feel invited to Polish amazing mountains!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately I have no place to host anybody, but I can become your guide around Warsaw or Krakow, drink with you coffee and glass of wine and go on an event. It will be the greatest pleasure for me to spend some time with you in Warsaw, Krakow or anywhere in Poland.
