ABOUT ME

I love little, spontaneous things made with heart and I'm always trying to find a good flow into my day. Perfect piece of music, a mouthful of tastes and connecting with people without masks make my day!

It'd be wonderful to see the world with my own eyes and get a view of it through seeing different parts of the world. Not to say in the end "I was there!", but to experience it and to get a deeper understanding. I think CS can for sure contribute to this - through connection between people!

I live in Berlin, but originally I come from northern Finland. Now, I study in the MA programm of social and cultural anthropology in Berlin. I have also studied social & political sciences and journalism.

PHILOSOPHY

Put the barriers in your head low, because that leads you to chances you never even thought about and brings you forward.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had warmhearted CS experiences and I've had the chance to see places in an other way that I expected in advance: incredible hospitality, bringing the cuisines of travellers and hosts together, trips to mountains, place to sleep in the tightest 1-room-apartment of Bologna with four other travellers and host.

Musica, film e libri

Music has undoubtedly a big part in my life through listening, singing, playing instruments, dancing or as a general feelgood spice. For example folk, classical rock, hiphop, electronical, singer-songwriter, instrumental... Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Jonathan Wilson and Looptroop Rockers as some of my favorites. I love going to concerts; specially small and intensive singer-songwriters on the stage make me get goose bumps.

In my childhood home the TV functioned only when the weather was good and we never had videos, but later I've become a bigger and bigger fan of film.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I've started cutting the hair of my friends' because of the simple pleasure and because of the beauty as well. I could give also you a new haircut!

I'm also really keen on vegetarian cooking and an evening with a glass of wine, belly happy with food and a nice talk is never pointless.
