Overview
About Me
I am back on couchsurfing since some years!
I did couch surfing a few times now. I love the whole atmosphere around couchsurfing, getting to know each other, the food, the music. Hotels make me feel quite lonely, where couchsurfing makes me feel connected :) So far, I have surfed some couches in Germany, Sweden, Colombia it gave me good energy. I really enjoy meeting new people. Furthermore, I am open for learning new languages (need to practice my spanish!!!), sharing food, music, and my passion for filmmaking.
In my student flat I didn't have ANY room to host, but now I live in Brussels, and there are two sleeping couches. Feel welcome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love meeting fellow Couchsurfers, share meals, music, knowledge. Go to places that you would not go if you just stay in a ho(s)tel and do the overly crowded touristy things, which I don't enjoy as much.
Interests
I like cycling!!! I go on biking holidays with one of my closest friends, every year. I did salsa (needs some freshening up), being outside and going for walks; in the forest, the beach, anywhere in nature really. I love to read. Very much into feminist writers at this moment (just finished bell hooks - all about love). I'm a vegetarian.

Music, Movies, and Books
Close up by Kiarostami
The wonders by Alice Rohwacher
It is Night in America by Ana Vaz
Tras o montes by Margarida Cordeiro & Antonio Reis
ROSALÍA!!! Especially her older flamenco-album.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A bike trip with one of my closest friends through Albania. We wild-camped, where invited in peoples gardens, got to know the country (and its very interesting past). The nature, camping, the slowing down really made a big impression on me. Since then, I've only been doing biking-holidays (very dutch)
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to improve my Spanish. If you want to learn Dutch, I'd be happy to help!
I enjoy doing creative things; drawing, pottery, photography and film (which i studied). Would be great to share food / good talks / film, book & music recommendations.
Would love to learn how to play the harmonica.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A genuine interest and conversations, card games, some of my favourite music/movies & tips for Brussels, Ghent or Amsterdam (in which I've all lived)
