Overview
About Me
I live with 3 girls in Nuremberg and we would love to welcome you in our home.
I work as a consultant for municipalities in Germany and am a graduated business student. I would describe me as a person who loves to meet new people and laugh a lot but also is thoughtful about what really adds value to life.
In my freetime I love to hike especially in the mountains. I am loving the simple side of life.
Therefore I am traveling a lot and would like to get new experiences in couchsurfing.
As I know how useful and great a couchsurfing stay can be, I want to host as well!
I love reading classic books like David Thoreau and Hermann Hesse. This could be the reason why I love to philosophize in front of a cool beer. :)
I am a volunteer in a humanism organization where we are planning political campaigns and events to inform about the human rights.
So I would be glad if I would get the chance to enjoy a good time with you. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the past I prefered to stay in hostels and my lovely tent, but now I would like to try couchsurfing.
I can imagine that this is a better way to learn a lot about the culture, people and country instead of hanging out with other tourists in the hostel. :)
Interests
Sports like running, swimming, hiking and cycling.
Reading classic books and travelstories. Books added so much value to my life.
Also interested in global business economics.
I love good rock music like Led Zeppelin or Rory Gallagher.
I have a big favor on classic music as well, especially Felix Mendelssohn, Johann Sebastian Bach and Frederic Chhopin.
Music, Movies, and Books
Led Zeppelin, Classic Rock, Beatles
Into the Wild,
Walden (Thoreau), Steppenwolf (Hermann Hesse), Siddharta (Hermann Hesse)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met a local couple in the alps while trying to climb on top of a mountain. We got to know each other and spent some good days together. They’ve showed me a few secret caves, which were very impressive.
Expecially their great knowledge of the local nature maked the trip very special.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in the different styles of living the life. What makes it different from other Countries? What can I learn and implement in my life?
And what adds value to your life?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to cook and experiment new meals. If I will stay in your home, we could prepare a meal together.
Teach you some bavarian slang. :)
Philosophize with a beer about the world and humanism.
