Born in Brazil, living in Geneva as an exchange student.
As Brazil is far from Europe, I want to get the most out of the experience that is being in Europe. Therefore I applied for exchanges on Brussels (from September till January) and Geneva (from February till June). One is the heart of the EU institutions and the other, the heart of international cooperation. But both are the home of many different cultures and nationalities, and I wanted to live the multiculturalism and feel this unity and diversity that keeps it all together.
Travelling is also one of the things that will definitely improve my experience, and I'll try to do so as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that the best thing about Couchsurfing is that we all share the same mind set: being receptive and open minded about everything. I'd like to know people from different cultures, share a beer or a glass of wine, and have a really good conversation. I want to broaden my view of the world, and get to know all the amazing people that cross my way =)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to host because my landlords charged visitors (as I lived in student housings in both exchanges) and if they found that someone slept there without their knowledge, they would get money from my caution.

Interests

The thing I'm really interested in is having a beer with friends and meet new people. I'm not really a night club person, and I'd rather have a beer at home with the company of good people. A bar is also a really good option =)

I like to watch movies and series, and have spent a long time doing so haha. I used to play a lot of online games in the past, but that's something I left behind because of my bachelors. I love mountain biking and downhill, but during my bachelors I started living on a dangerous city with also a chaotic transit, so I am not cycling as much as I would like to. Nevertheless, I'm glad I'm still one piece.

Current mission: find a job on my way back to Brazil haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything that has a beat, but my favorites are alternative and pop rock, hip hop and rap.
At the moment I don't have a favorite band, but I've been listening a lot to From Ashes to New =)

I'm not really into reading books. I'd only read a book if I have an exam about it haha. But I like to read articles about businesses and economics.

I have spent a long time of my life watching movies. My favorite is definitely the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and my favorite gender is medieval, followed by sci-fi and war. I know, huge difference between them. But I really like both haha.

Series I really like: Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Hannibal, Sherlock Holmes, House of Cards, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Westworld and Vikings.
Series I think everybody should watch: Band of Brothers, The Pacific and Over There.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing an accelerated free fall. It was a birthday present from my girlfriend, and it was definitely the best experience I ever had. The moment you jump from the plane is at the same time terrifying and amazing. That controversial feeling, alongside a 40 seconds fall with maneuvers and 220kmh speed is definitely something else. That's a thing I think everybody should try.
