About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world and enjoy every second of it.

ABOUT ME

I am an open hearted and open minded young man who like adventure, food, travels. I keep being amazed of what the diversity the world have to offer. I like the diversity, it is what makes travelling so amazing.
Meeting new people, having a great time and learn from each other are some of my favourite things. I have learned more from talking to people that I have ever learned from any book.
I am very easy going, happy and talkative with everyone and anyone. At the same time I also like to chill out and hang out with just one other person to share stories.

I have an amazing girlfriend in Denmark that I am going to travel with soon. But right now she is in university and have no time to join me.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every moment and learn something new every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had my couch open for visitors for years now. Not many people come to the north of Denmark, but the ones that come have been cool and more than welcome. I have surfed some as well. Met a lot of great people in a short time. If you host me i can help out with a lot where I surf. Cooking, stories, wine, lots of coffee and tea. As long as it is fun i like it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2011 - In Berlin this great guy shared his life with the girl I was travelling with and me. He showed us all the secret places that you wouldn't normally see as a traveller. That is the great thing about being invited in by locals; all the secrets!

2012 September and October - Surfed for 1½ month through Schwitzerland and Norway while looking for work. It resulted in sleeping in a Barn in the Mountains, under the ceiling in an art atallier, being woken by a cat jumping on my stomach, meeting rock musicians, seeing art house movies and much much more.

Interests

My field of interest span quite far. My primary interest is all the great architecture of the world. I want to see as much of it as possible as it is inspiring. Architecture is like art; if it is great it can comment on a time in history, can promote calmness or rebellion, change the life of people. I would be happy to share all my thoughts and knowledge of this to anyone who are interested in listening.

I like being in nature. A year ago I went to Norway and hiked on my own for a week in the mountains. It was a crazy experience being alone in the wilds with nothing but my rucksack. I ended up sleeping in a cave as the rain poured down outside. I never slept so well.

Of sports I have done a lot of different things: Sports climbing, flying glider planes, golf, football, running, shuttlecock, karate, Aikido. I liked them all and I am ready to try new things!

I love cooking, and would love to cook a great delicious dish if you invite me into your home.

In my spare time I read a lot of books. My favourite authors at the moment is Henry Miller, Lawrence Durrell, Knut Hamsun, Albert Camus, Sverre Fehn and Juhani Pallasmaa. Some of them are a little architecture nerdy, and the rest is just great litterature.

I have an interst in philosophy. I am not by any means an expert, but I have read some great book on the subject and find and experienced.

I like to see a good movie as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Nice Age, Surf Punk, obscure stuff, not so obscure stuff, Nick Cave, Henry Miller, Bukowski, Batman!, Y: The last man, Under Byen, Beth Gibbons + Portishead, Wierd french films, actionpacked american films... I like it all. It can be serious, fun, sad, noisy, ugly and beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was hiking alone in the mountains of Norway and was caught aff guard by the darkness, so I spent the night in a cave. I never slept better.
