We both love travelling and have tried as best we can to explore either our own country or places that we can manage to travel to. The last few years we've been focused on our careers and building a house - this is now all settled and stable and travelling will move up on our priority list.

I look after the Supply Chain operations for a large FMCG company in Africa affording me a lot of travel to interesting new locations that I would not have explored on holiday trips.

PHILOSOPHY

If anything in life sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't true. Therefore I go out and expect extremely little from people and experiences...and always end up being amazed with the beauty of people and the generous compassion we exhibit towards each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have only hosted 2 groups of people before - we used to live in Pietermaritzburg - this is not really the tourist hub of SA...so we were rather surprised to get any requests!

Interests

I love entertaining people at my house, good wine, travel stories, board games (after enjoying the good wine), going new places (even if just up the N3 to a place I havn't been before), Old deserted building/factories/villages.

I am fascinated by people's stories and events that lead up to where they find themselves at any random point in time.
