Overview
About Me
My name is Jacob. I am married to Jessica, and we have two boys - Noah and Ezra. We are based out of Kitwanga, BC. We bought an old farm in 2018 that we've turned into an award-winning training farm (www.teacreek.ca). We were named "Canada's Food Heros" by the United Nations in 2022.
We homeschooled our boys and practice life learning with them - meaning there is no curriculum, just a life full of rich experience for them to immerse themselves in and explore. One of our sons is an avid musician artist, and the other one is a farmer and is currently pursuing his apprenticeship as a mechanic.
We love learning through travel and meeting other people. As a family we've been to Europe a few times, and we've visited the western coast of Mexico a few times.
I lived in Germany for a year when I was 16, and can speak some German. We live in Kitwanga because it is very beautiful, with amazing culture, history, and natural environment.
