About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel the world, immerse myself in challenging and foreign cultures, and travel the world through cuisine!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is complex. I'm an existentialist, a humanist, an analyst. It goes a lot with my studies in Psychology. I think a lot about dream analysis and our life development.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... WOW... Let's just say that I am a moviephile. On Netflix I have rated over 2000 movies that I can find. I mostly love independent films, foreign films, art house, and non-pop culture. Though, I've been known to catch-up on those that have been nominated for the Oscars!

My range of music is the entire spectrum from Opera to Heavy Metal. I don't particularly like pop-Country... but, I do LOVE live music no matter the genre! I'd say that I'm a musicphile also!

My taste in books are the same. I am a writer. I've been working on a novel, but have taken a hiatus and started working on short stories for the time being. I have a love for Tennessee Williams and Raymond Carver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done was to travel hours deep into the Sahara Desert, alone, with a Nomad... who did not speak any language that I spoke. He led me by camel to his camp, we ate together, I slept under the stars, woke up at the ass-crack of dawn, and rode back to my guide to go back to my journey across Morocco. It was truly amazing. I might add that during this adventure, I observed Ramadan, and I am not Muslim; it was indeed a humbling experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm here to teach the world about the ways of Western Culture, and I would like to learn how the rest of the world perceives us.  In my travels, I have noticed such a great disconnect in what each of us knows about each other.  It fascinates me in what we can share and learn about each other.
