I'm often very busy, but also friendly, creative and interested in other people. My husband also lives here, and we sometimes have family staying with us. We have two dogs and one cat, who love people and will never hurt a guest. They will alert us to unexpected sounds though - if that is a problem, better to look elsewhere. 8^)
We are also re-cyclers, and outdoors people, and I sometimes do ceramics. Love to travel!

I have too many interests to list!
My husband is also interested in classic cars, though we don't have one right now, and in sailing (we also don't have a sailboat! ha ha ha), in Danish history and politics. We are both interested in Real Estate as a curiosity for making money, for meeting the needs of the population, from building techniques to restoration and antiques.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raised my daughter by myself in the U.S. (not much of a safety net), earned a diploma education to work with lawyers, then got my bachelors degree (4 years in U.S.) and then my law degree, and passed the qualifying exams - while parenting my lovely daughter completely on my own, with help now and then from family that lived a few hours away. Seems like such a long time ago - but it was pretty amazing thing to do back then!

If you are visiting Ærø, we also rent out a 105 m2 home for reasonable price, and when we do this, we typically also provide historical information and local guidance for places to visit, where to swim, and how to make the best of time on this lovely island.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an easy-going guest; not likely to be around much except in the evening at which time I may be writing. I do volunteer work for as many as 40 hours per week at times, and my trips have to do with this. If you have an interest in hanging out - that might be nice! But you need not worry about me being needy. I'm not. 8^)
