About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel everywhere, meet anyone, play music, be alive.
ABOUT ME
Well, my current situation is much different as of late, but before now, I spent the past 3 months working in Marseille, France as an Au Pair. Before then, I lived in Missoula, Montana for the fall and then Seattle, WA the two years previous. I am a pretty upbeat person and enjoy sarcasm and general dry-humor. I play accordion and guitar poorly, but can fake it almost. Playing music or being around music, generally, (along with travelling) are my main enjoyments in life. Last Saturday, my last day of work, some friends and I travelled to England and I spent a week in Winchester with some incredible folk. I'm planning on exploring England and hopefully Scotland and Ireland before going back to France. It is random but exciting.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm back in the states I would love to host surfers. My sister has done it as well as most of my friends and it's definitely a rad network. I have "hosted" people in the past out of requests of friends of mine and ended up meeting some great people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None on couchsurfing but, unofficially, a bit in England and Marseille. In the past week, I've stayed on couches and floors in Winchester and London and it has been amazing.
Interests
Music, good food, lame jokes, interesting conversations, new people, worn-out shoes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learning French over the past few months. I'm terrible, but can have conversations and that is weird to me.
Travelling on my own is definitely pretty wild. It's a bit terrifying, but it forces me actually break social barriers and meet people I might otherwise walk past if I had a friend alongside me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I could be a poster-person for being a bit spontaneous and travelling with the bare minimum. It's something I've always wanted to do and now that I am, it makes me realize how if you want something, you just have to make it happen. If I would have continued postponing travels for after I made more money, or what-have-you, I never would have done it. Seriously, just do it and then figure things out alone the way. Things will work out.
