ABOUT ME
Well what can I say... Currently working the financial industry in Sydney (Australia) but turns out the financial industry is falling off a cliff and bringing the rest of the world down with it so I have decided that this industry isnt for me.... and am taking the plunge by resigning and travelling!
After flying out of Sydney in August plans are to start in Asia then go across to Turkey and wing it for a month by travelling up through eastern europe and to western europe.
After that ill be going across to America for a quick stint in New York then down to South America where ill be doing a TEFL/TESOL course in Buenos Aires with the intention of teaching english, somewhere.... possibly central america

Interests
I have general interests like most people, music, sport, meeting new people, partying, chilling...
Im sure my interests will change over my travels but I have had a huge interest in trying to learn new languages and cultures lately.... the Spanish language and is my current venture (hence south america) so any native speakers who are willing to help me out will be amuch appreciated! Se puede ayudar este gringo por favor! (hope that makes sense)
Hopefully then id like to learn another language, think im getting ahead of myself on that for now though.
Also dont like working for the MAN... so would like to start my own venture, what ever that may be. Hopefully travelling will give me some ideas. Anyone willing to shares some ideas, im open!

Watched a few Colombian and Spanish movies lately to try improve my spanish (to not much avail) - perro come perro, los colores de las montanas, cell 211, volver
Currently reading - The four hour work week, which fits in with my travel aspirations. And Diarios de un Sicarios - story about a gunman for mexican cartels
Im big on music - in my high school days I was into Rock/Metal now im into Drum & Bass, House, Dubstep, Dub, Reggae, pretty much everything.. although lately i've been getting into deep house which my friend and Berlin got me onto
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being the first kiwi to go up to a remote village on the border of Serbia and Kosovo was a good experience, the village had one old couple who still live there and were inviting and gave me some rakija (serbian plum brady). My friend and his cousins who I went with showed me areas that had old roman gravesites and craters in the mountains from the nazis dropping bombs in WW2. Was a very good experience
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm... back in my hay day I was a pretty avid guitar player which has been on the backburner these day but can still teach people something
