About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to "arrive at the ground at [my] own feet and learn to be at home" ~Wendell Berry
ABOUT ME
I love schmoozing and gallivanting, find any place and any time acceptable for a dance party, work hard but play harder, and have never met a stranger. I love to travel, but then again, isn't that why we are all here?
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone has a story.
Act justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly.
I am nothing without my community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been back in NC for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier. I've met many of my new friends in the area from participating in the the local couchsurfing community. Now that I own a home, I would love to start hosting again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I slept on a lot of people's couches, beds, floors, camping mats, etc. during my 6 week trip around the country. I hosted like crazy during the years I lived in Indianapolis, and I tried to surf in nearby cities as often as possible on free weekends. I've done a little international surfing but not nearly enough. I have often participated in the local CS community wherever I've lived. I loooove couchsurfing potlucks. Some of my greatest friends have come from CouchSurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorites are often fleeting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Seeing the sunset on top of a Mayan ruin in Tikal, Guatemala.
2. Traveling across the US for 6 weeks with 2 friends in my tiny Yaris.
3. Dancing the night away with the hotel staff in Israel.
4. Meeting some of the greatest girls on a backpacking trip around Europe.
5. Finally going skydiving after wanting to since I was a little girl. It was spiritual. Then taking my boyfriend for a second spin a few years later.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn recipes, dances, games, and languages from your culture/upbringing.
I am always on the lookout for people who want to help me take that first or next step in gardening.
