About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To irresponsibly enjoy, beyond all reasonable exectations and good advice, my graduation summer!

ABOUT ME

Im a 21 year old soon to be (it is hoped) graduate in Business and Management... but to stop this reading like a CV, I'll move onto more interesting pastures. I keep a few close friends, and like to gain new experiences and meet new people however it arises. There's nothing better than sharing a cup of tea or a drink with a few friends and this is the outlook I take to life. As I come to the end of education, I have learnt a great deal about myself and others and hope to continue this into my working, and more importantly social life, to follow.

I'd describe myself and well-read, conscientious, ambitious and positive. Although some may take aim at my sardonic wit, I feel there is more to my character than this!

PHILOSOPHY

People who have no vices often have few virtues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My personal situation doesn't afford much reciprocity, yet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None as yet. Heard good things though.

Interests

Drums, basketball and reading are pretty much my passions. Drinking is enjoyable, and ultimately detracts from my passions, oh well! Just finished university and enjoying the lack of responsibility this affords before moving into my graduate job in September.

I've played drums for nearly 10 years now - having started at age 12 one Christmas, although I had always pottered around with a kit I'd had since I was 6 or so. I love playing alone or in a band and could happily while away a whole afternoon behind a kit. I've been in a few bands, but the most notable would be my epic metal band when I was around 16, and my current band, the amazingly (read sarcasm) Crank Cranker (I didn't choose the name). We play funk/blues/rock and it's been an experience. We've recently split up and reformed for a "sell out" campus wide (its only a square mile or so) tour. How very rock'n'roll!

I've played basketball for a number of years and used to be quite good. Unfortunately I'm prett much the opposite of a good white played. In that I can dunk (sit down Woody Harrelson), but aren't too hot at anything else! Nevermind! I've played, and ran, my university team to some success. We just picked up our second league title in three years. So thats pretty good news.
