CURRENT MISSION

My mission is, quite simply, to learn. I'm still young, so I'm trying to learn about people, places, whatever I come across.

ABOUT ME

All about me? I hate talking "all about me." I feel like I'm simply building myself up and maybe I'll meet expectations and maybe I won't. So, here are some facts about me:

-I believe in God and I love Him.
-I am a runner, not for school anymore, but simply because I love it.
-I am an artist. I don't paint, but I love working with charcoal, colored pencils, and chalk pastels.
-I love music. I am not a musician, but I would love to learn to play guitar, flute, accordion, many more.
-I have very recently been thrown back into the world of reading. I love to read. It lets my imagination build on a story.
-I like traveling, but I'm very hesitant to try things out unless someone else is more hesitant that I am. I like to slowly build up experience so that I can make clear decisions.

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live? Because I have been given life and I am called to live that life fully and to have God's light shine through myself to be a cause for people to praise our Father in Heaven. It's extraordinarily difficult, but it's so rewarding. I want to live an epic life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy meeting people, especially people who are very different than I am but who love to get to know other people as well. I want to meet as many interesting people as I can. I guess I'd like to bring a willingness to explore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what to say. I guess I could talk about climbing 300 ft of rock in West Virginia or sleeping under the stars in a grassy field in Pennsylvania or running a 25k in Michigan or traveling through Romania in a VW van, but what is really coming to me right now is that I have developed an obsession with racing trams in Budapest. A few weeks ago, a friend and I beat a tram in a 300m sprint. I was not so successful in a recent attempt, but I had just gotten off said tram and didn't have good shoes on. It was still kind of amazing.
