ABOUT ME
Hi! I am an easy-going guy and I joined Couchsurfing to meet people I wouldn't meet otherwise.
In my spare time I like to go to flea markets, go to museums, cycle, hang out with friends and play board games and video games. And travelling as much as possible, obviously. I work full time as a communications officer for Erasmus University Rotterdam.
You are welcome to crash at my apartment just north of the city centre (10 min by public transport). I also like to show people around my city and visit the hidden treasures of Rotterdam. Due to work I can usually only host in the weekend, but just ask anyway. Speedy reply guaranteed.
So, want to know where can you get the best lahmacun outside of Istanbul?; the best icecream outside of Italy?; the best selection of beers outside of Belgium/Czech Republic?; or, find the perfect nature refuge in the heart of bustling metropolis that is Rotterdam? Send me a message and find out :)
PHILOSOPHY
"A mind is like a parachute, it only works when it is open." (not mine btw, Frank Zappa said it first)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During Easter, I spent two weeks in Belgrade with friends who live their. Just hanging out, meeting their friends and family, playing basketball, going for drinks and aimlessly walking around the neighbourhood at night with a couple of beers. I enjoy the simple things!
Backpacking through Europe for a month in my lonesome was also pretty awesome :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Aside from hosting, I would be welcome to show you around town. Due to work obligations, mostly in the weekends though. But always feel free to ask.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfortable couch, my hospitality and (when time and work permit it) an (dare I say it) excellent insider's look into Rotterdam :)
