About Me

Someone who believes it doesn't take too much to improve the world if you smile.

I'm presently researching the relationship between visual arts and cybernetics in Dublin, with a series of case studies focusing primarily on Argentinian art in the late 60's / early 70's.

I'm a surfer, a climber and a dog lover. I have an endless amount of time for good music, ranging from Bob Dylan and Neil Young to Tamikrest and 10ft Ganja Plant - honestly, as long as it's good, I've got time for it.

I'm passionate about learning Spanish, though, it has become quite rusty over the past couple years due to a lack of practice, as has my climbing, but nonetheless, just more of a reason to keep doing it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to a sincere belief in the beauty of it. Whilst Karma is a very loaded word, having hitchhiked for years, the beauty of kindness is ALWAYS returned eventually, and by hosting we can form amazing things.

Not to mention a real desire to meet new people from as far ranging places as possible, and a good night with new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Tinariwen, Muddy Waters, Toots and the Maytals, literally an endless list these are just what I was listening to today

Books recently read:
'Dharma Bums'- Kerouac
Herman Hesse - Sidartha, Steppenwolf, etc
Satre - No Exit

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure I could pick, however the most amazing moment recently was watching a bright red 'sahara' sun set on the sea after an evening surf.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would be elated to teach anyone how to surf, though the fundamentals of guitar, slack lining, climbing or theory (maybe not wanted!) are definitely other options!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many drinks, good conversation, and a nice breakfast!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Belize, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Guatemala, Ireland, United Kingdom
