About Me
** Sad this even needs to be mentioned BUT: not here for hook-ups. **
Funny mix of everything... Health care professional, loving music, arts and science, easily getting annoyed by injustice and obviously a passionate traveller.
Although my history on couchsufing just started recently, I'm experienced in travelling, meeting new people and sleeping in all sorts of conditions from hamocks in Spain, to caves in Jordan, kitchen floors or sharing tiny rooms with many people in Malawi... - I've tried it! I'm very easy going, open, adaptable and happy to meet and get inspired by people from different countries and cultures
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel 10% of the time to explore nature, 20% to listen to good music but 100% to get to know the locals and their culture. There's no better way to grab the vibe of a place than from the perspective of someone who's been living there and has both the place's as well as their own story to tell.
What surprised me moreover is how easy it is to connect with other travellers through cs and find all these wonderful personalities! And as a host caught in my daily routine, I'm still able to have the world come together in my living room. It's good.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: think 'urban' is the way to describe it.. Hip hop and beats.. The undefeated Number one : Casisdead, as well as Shlohmo, Lorn, Lauryn Hill, Octavian, 6lack, jorja Smith, The knife, Fever Ray, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Afrobeats, ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There have been quite some experiences.. But to be honest, everyday situations in which people are helping each other out, small gestures of kindness are what impress me the most
Teach, Learn, Share
We can get lost brainstorming on how to save the world or nerd around about some music related or neuroscientific issues.. I can teach some guitar, piano or music production or resuscitation basics. The latter is always helpful
What I Can Share with Hosts
Deep conversations, an open ear, good company at adventures, parties or chilled hours
And I will at least invite my hosts out for dinner and drinks (i would also make dinner but I'm a bit insecure about my cooking skills, unless you're really open for experimental cuisine).
