About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Collecting memories and eating ice cream!

ABOUT ME

I recently finished 2 years as a secondary school history teacher, am now working as a marketing coordinator, and hope to someday have an impact in making great places through real estate development or urban planning or something related. I love walking and riding my bike and finding things that are free. I swear I have some form of motorized vehicle narcolepsy because every time I am in a car or on a bus I get super sleepy....leads to interesting discoveries of new parts of cities. Lately I've been on a frugality kick in order to save up money for a trip this summer. I like to notice things along the way.

I really love to eat. Really.

I would love to get more involved. So far I have surfed once, hosted twice, and met up with travelers in New Orleans for drinks and such.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just beginning. I had a lovely host in Istanbul for my first experience and have hosted one CSer so far in New Orleans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studied urban planning in Rome, Italy.

Hiked to Ciudad Perdida in Colombia.

Made an awesome pork roast last month.

Mostly looking forward to amazing things I haven't gotten to do yet!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make button necklaces, paper flowers, and how to use a camera.

I am getting better at cooking and have decided that this is the summer I learn to make 101 salads! I would love to learn how to make something delicious, especially if it's easy ^^
