i am a warm, friendly, funny, eclectic, enthusiastic, calm, and centered person.
i practice urgent care medicine part time. i'm starting a nonprofit org for promoting primary prevention through healing, arts, action, and medicine. i spend the rest of my time dancing, drumming, reading, writing, meditating, yogalating, making my podcast, and enjoying time with my friends and family.

i revel in the warmth the global village and in the immense value of cultivating friendships. i wish all the borders in the world would evaporate so we all could visit each other more freely. i was hosting travelers, friends, and friends of friends and have been hosted by friends, and friends of friends long before i discovered couchsurfing.org. now i feel like my circle of people i call my own has expanded multifold. i look forward to making friends with you.
