ABOUT ME

i am a warm, friendly, funny, eclectic, enthusiastic, calm, and centered person.
i practice telemedicine from home now. i believe all human activity is health-related and that we should prioritize primary prevention. i am a solo parent of 2 delightful children born in Dec 2021 and Jan 2024. before children (in the BC era) i spent my time dancing, drumming, reading, writing, meditating, yogalating, making my podcast, and enjoying time with my friends and family.

i revel in the warmth the global village and in the immense value of cultivating friendships. i wish all the borders in the world would evaporate so we all could visit each other more freely. i was hosting travelers, friends, and friends of friends and have been hosted by friends, and friends of friends long before i discovered couchsurfing.org. now i feel like my circle of people i call my own has expanded multifold. i look forward to making friends with you.

and, i wish to participate in a world in which everything is not transactional. couchsurfing offers an opportunity to de-commodify the experience of traveling. it’s an alternate reality in which people support each other, paying forward, knowing that there are miracles to be received, not because one gave, but simply because we are here.
