Overview
About Me
I'm a 30 year old English Language Arts (ELA) teacher with a passion for traveling. I've lived and worked abroad multiple times and feel like every time I travel, I learn something new about people, the world and myself. I have had fantastic experiences while couch surfing and have made many wonderful friends.
COVID has obviously put a damper on my travel plans, but the most important thing is to stay safe! I look forward to traveling again when I'm able to.
As I have my own place now, I am looking into hosting, as well! More on that soon. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couchsurfed throughout Poland and Germany and it was phenomenal. As I have my own place now, I would really love to host people once the pandemic has passed.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love foreign films - especially French films and Korean/Japanese dramas. I also love American/BBC dramas and a well done comedy.
I mainly listen to bands over genres and songs over bands. I discovered iTunes recently and am completely addicted. Two Steps from Hell is my most played band, followed closely by Imagine Dragons and Thomas Bergerson.
I will read anything and everything. My favorite book is "The Hero and The Crown," by Robin McKinley for nostalgic reasons. I am a huge bookworm.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

People with interesting hobbies, people who are sociable, people who are calm.
What I Can Share with Hosts
You will have your own bedroom, although the bathroom will be shared. I'd love to take you to some of the hidden gems in Florida on the weekends. I work throughout the week so I'd be unavailable to drive you anywhere, but we do have Uber here!
I live near a university so we have a lot of local restaurants nearby, which is kind of great. When it comes to big attractions, according to Google Maps:
Disney World is a 31 minute drive.
Universal is a 27 minute drive.
Those are our main attractions, but if there's something else you want to see, please let me know and I can map it - or maybe even take you if it's a weekend. Plus, downtown Orlando is heaps of fun if you enjoy nightlife.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, England, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Spain, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands, U.S.
