Hello there! I'm Jyri Karvanen, a 31-year-old traveler from Finland. With around a decade of experience in live broadcasting, I've been fortunate to embark on some remarkable journeys.

When I'm not on the road, my passions include music, particularly drumming, hitting the gym to stay fit, and, of course, my work – which I'm fortunate to love. Couchsurfing is a world I've only scratched the surface of, based on what I've read. I'm fluent in English and, as my native language, Finnish.

I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow travelers, sharing stories, and immersing myself in new cultures. If you can provide a friendly place to stay during my travels that would be awesome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now, I'm venturing out solo with just my backpack, and I'm excited to try Couchsurfing as a way to add a fresh dimension to my travel experiences. I've heard so many fantastic things about the platform and its community.

Also I want to keep up my budget and I think this option is better for me.

Pretty much every music genre is great. But when im alone I listen mostly rap, rock and reggae. Depends so much about the mood!
