About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To graduate from my nursing degree without losing my sanity (or at least, not all of it).
ABOUT ME
I live 15min out of Whangarei, with my partner Regan, our 3 kids, a cat, my little sister, and my other little sister & her son, and on the weekends, her partner too.
I have rusting violin skills since learning it throughout my childhood, and have begun teaching myself the guitar (for the umpteenth time but it seems to be working this time!)
I love people, and learning new things. I'm a bit of a fledgling foodie (my partner is a chef! We eat SO well), and enjoy the simpler things in life.
I am a creature of chaos by nature, as my eclectic (read: messy!) house shows.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to make a difference in others' lives. I want to be able to touch each person I meet in a meaningful way, and enrich their life (even just the littlest bit) by doing so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My mother brought home stray backpackers and hitch hikers throughout my childhood, and I really enjoyed the variation and new interestingness that they brought into our home, so I'm carrying on the tradition. Plus, I know what it's like to not have a roof of my own, and to rely on the generosity of strangers for somewhere warm to sleep, and something to eat.
Interests
Learning anything new! I enjoy a wide range of activities, and follow my curiosity into anything it draws me to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A landslide fell on my bedroom sleepout and squashed it sideways, less than 5 minutes after I got out of it.
Plus I've been bungy jumping - fan-flipping-tastic!
Teach, Learn, Share
Love is a decision, and happiness is a state of mind.
You can be happy in a desolate prison, or on a warm couch in the caribbean. You can also be very unhappy on that warm couch, so know: the truth of it all lies inside you.
