Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning how to solve problems.
Learning how to solve different problems.
Learning how to solve complex problems.
Thinking deeply about problems.
ABOUT ME
Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in cognitive neuroscience. This gives me the privilege of spending long periods of time to think, read and conduct experiments. I love, love, love thinking about how people think about the world and therefore I enjoy getting to know people personally through long conversations and often over good coffee and pastries. Outside of work, I love people who exudes a kind of selfless kindness and strive to do the same by putting others first (though I constantly fall short of that mark).
PHILOSOPHY
My favorite quote and how I see life - "For one human being to love another; that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation." Rainer Maria Rilke
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Owing Couchsurfing's wonderful community, I was hosted by very gracious people in St. Louis, Minneapolis, Denver and Boston. Looking forward to be able to meet more host or couch surfers.
Interests
Besides working, I spend a lot of time running. I am deeply interested in endurance sports and dream of completing a triathlon someday. Whenever possible, I also enjoy hiking and being lost in nature. My most recent hike (May 2019) was on the Inca Trail in Peru. Climbing those peaks and treading on ruins made me feel a little like Indiana Jones!
