Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Over the years my priority in traveling has shifted from seeing touristic sights to meeting locals, learning their cultures, and befriending them.
I found couch-surfing to be the perfect tool to facilitate meeting locals when I visit their city, or host guests visiting my city, all based on common interests.

Interests

most of my interests are outdoor interests.
but in addition to outdoor interests, I also enjoy intelligent conversations as culture, economy, politics, and history of the country I am visiting.
So meeting locals interested to engage in such conversations would be invaluable to me.
