About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding the highest quality sunny spots.

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic, friendly, curious sort with a healthy dose of skepticism. I need a substantial amount of time alone, but good company and great conversation are near impossible to beat. My idea of a great day would be spending the first part of the day alone reading and taking notes (preferably somewhere sunny) then meeting up with friends for conversation and wrapping it all up with some drinks and dancing.

I'm from Fredericksburg, a small, but not tiny, town in Virginia. Downtown is my favorite part. It is the kind of place where people tell stories and say hello to strangers without thinking twice. Somewhere in the two blocks between my charming early 19th century apartment to just about anywhere I'd like to go (my Artist studio space, bars where I can always count on running into friends, my favorite coffee, and the farmers market) I caught a travel bug. My first step was some mini adventures in the US then what felt like a big move to Boston, MA. It has been everything I could have asked for and more. Boston is bursting with intelligent people with great ideas the and the will power to make it happen. I'm hoping it is contagious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing has introduced me to amazing people and places that I will never forget. It's hard to describe how wonderful couchsurfing has been to me without sounding dramatic. It truly is life changing if you use the organization as it is intended. Leaving the new friends I made during my two adventures was much harder than I would have ever expected, but I return to my everyday world reinvigorated. I'm reminded of the kindness of people and how much I still have to learn and experience. It has helped me define what is actually important and what I want out of life.
