Overview
About Me
It's been a while I've used Couchsurfing, last time was in 2012, but I guess your never too old to discover and meet new people. I have travelled extensively during and after my studies from 2006 - 2012, from Australia to West Africa and I have lived in Egypt, Lebanon and France (Marseille) for some time.
The past years I was exploring and growing in my professional life. This has made me move to Rotterdam and work with very diverse people from many different countries and backgrounds. I'm happy I can continue learning from other cultures while working as a Scrum Master with a software innovation team at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people that live the local culture and know the hidden gems of a place. I have met many new people through CS on 4 different continents, and they have impressed me with their kindness and stories. I'm eager to hear more and continue learning from the people I meet.
Interests
In daily life I like to go for walks, play basketball, taste new beers, read American 1980s novels and discover new music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled over land to West-Africa (yes, by bus and car through the Sahara) and learned French along the way (mainly in Marseille): Senegal, Gambia, Guinée, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana.
Then travelled to Lebanon and lived, worked and learned there for over a year in Beirut.
Teach, Learn, Share
Currently working as a coach with 5 different nationalities and find it always surprising how we can learn from diversity.
I can share my knowledge on music while listening and talking along.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cook a dinner together and take you into the world of mix drinks (I've worked in a cocktail bar for some time)
I can also repair your bike. Honestly think that is one of the most meditative activities I can indulge in =)
