About Me

Hi!! My name is Klaudia, I am a 19-year old Pole who is taking a 1-month trip through Europe in January 2025 :D

I have been working in Iceland this year's summer holiday, and the time spent there truely opened my eyes when it comes to how I can actually manage to function abroad on my own. So, after winning my Interrail Pass in DiscoverEU 2023, I decided to finally use it after current 2024 Christmas Eve :)

When it comes to my way of being, I am a well-behaving, responsible, tidy person, I have a habit of keeping my surroundings orgaised and clean, I don't like chaos! I prefer to plan my journeys from A to Z - I feel safer. Since childhood I was being teached responsibility and independence.
I can adapt to communication needs - I don't have any problems with talking and socialling, nor staying quiet or on my own. I need to recharge sometimes, but when I get comfortable, I tend to be talkative a lot :p

I don't smoke, I drink only occasionally, rarely even. I graduated from an IT school last year, and I am taking a gap year before starting university.

I can consider psychology, travelling, anime and manga, baking and overall cooking as my hobbies - although the first two are pretty new. I am thinking about studying psychology though. I grew up as a highly respectful person and am trying to focus on self-awareness . I also enjoy aware nutrition, crocheting, a bit of gaming.

I would love to learn for example Russian, Japanese, Spanish, French - anything! And taste local cuisines around the world :p

If you have any more questions - reach out! I am looking forward to hearing from new people and learning about other cultures or countries :D Learning new languages is also fun a lot!!

PLEASE NOTE that I would like to host a lot, but because of my age I don’t have my own flat, so the decision doesn’t really depend fully on me :(

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a looot things. My music taste is literally mixed, it varies from classical music to heavy black metal, through synthwave, rap, ambient, rock, movie soundtracks, phonk, indie, alternative, witchhouse. Literally a lot :D Few of my favourite artists: Crystal Castles, Mindless Self Indulgence, TR/ST, $uicideboy$, Bones, Hiroyuki Sawano. I also sometimes listen to Lana Del Ray, Radiohead, Cigarettes After Sex, TV Girl, music from animated movies, half alive, Glass Animals, Crim3s, DVRST. A lot :p

The series which is connected to my heart is Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) by Hajime Isayama. No words can describe how deeply I feel about this :') I also have a tattoo with Naruto!
And recently I have rediscovered how much I care about Vaiana, I love this movie so much lol

I enjoy reading classical literature - Albert Camus, Friedrich Nietzsche, Dazai Osamu - nevertheless I am a newbie in the field so I still have Fyodor Dostoyevsky's, Franz Kafka's, Sylvia Plath's, Jean Paul Sartre's and a lot more author's classics on my to-read list.
I would happily accept some reccomendations! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent my last night in Reykjavik completely without any accomodation even though I had work and flight home with 32kg baggage the next day - my roommate forgot to leave me the key, and since they were waking up at 4am that day, they have been already asleep when I returned home around 11pm. I tried everything, knocking, calling, but after about 1 hour of hoping and thinking of any way to get inside I decided to wander through Reykjavik's downtown in the middle of the night. I decided to knock to my hotel's (in which I was working) door and spent the night in the basement where our social facility was lol

Overall I consider my organising and responsibility skills pretty good :p
