ABOUT ME

I grew up with dreams of travel in my mind. At 18 I moved to Switzerland for a year and Poland for another 6 months. I have been in Austin, TX (USA) since 2012. Graduated from University of Texas and started a online-based business afterwards. Still going strong with that so I can travel freely once again!

PHILOSOPHY

Well as an American I live too much in the future. How do I finish college in three years? How long before I have to do this? What job will I have in 10 years? Sometimes it is really troublesome and I have to fight that instinct to try and enjoy the present. Enjoy life now, before it is too late!...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I have not participated well enough with Couchsurfing as of yet. I hosted and was hosted a couple of times while I lived in Europe 2009 - 2010, but have not managed to get any credible reviews.

Nonetheless, I'm getting back into travel and I'd love to do things with natives and create authentic relationships with people (no matter how short-lived) in order to learn more about other cultures and lands.

Books: I'm a huge non-fiction reader. I love biographies, history, lifestyle (meditation etc). I'm pretty open to anything, really.

10 Day meditation retreat. No talking, no touching, no eye contact. Difficult, but amazing!

Hopefully I can share some perspective and my experiences can help others to improve their own life. We all have unique experiences and I'm eager to learn more about others in a new culture and place.
