I am 35 years old, from the middle of Canada (Winnipeg, MB), and taking advantage of my last opportunity to use the Working Holiday Visa before I age out. I am currently in the UK visiting some friends but will be making my way around Europe to the Czech Republic!

I would say I'm an introverted, extrovert - I love spending time with pals and going out and adventuring, but I definitely need some down time to recharge.

I know it is getting into the colder seasons, but I'm excited to experience it in a different part of the world than Canada. I love going to live music events (bar, festival), being outdoors - going on adventures (biking, hikes, walks),as well as checking out museums and other areas of interest around places.

I'm looking to meet people who want to host and be open to sharing their home and experiences and stories with me.

I like to travel when I can. (this past year I was fortunate enought to go to Oregon for my 35th birthday, and then in the summer I did a 3 week road trip from MB to BC)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I grew up as an emo kid (will always be an emo kid at heart) but I listen to all sorts of music - punk, indie, and in the last few years I've gotten into EDM (drum and bass, but still learning about the genres!)

Movies: My friends and I do an (almost) weekly movie night, I've watched all sorts of movies I've never seen before. We also will do theme nights - it's just a fun way to get together!

Books: I currently am hooked on reading fantasy books, otherwise I read stories about people's lives

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up the volcano Acatenago in Guatemala, three days after getting to the country after coming from flat Manitoba. (It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to hear about other people's experiences and adventures. I enjoy my opportunities to travel as I get to learn more about the history of the places I visit, that I may have not had the chance to learn about.
